You reserve your 20 minute slot on the booking form below by selecting your time and paying your $100 session fee. Session fees will be collected and donated cumulatively to Brave Space Alliance.

You show up to Eskell in Bucktown with your family members, loved ones, or pets ready to be photographed! We will have a temporary studio set up in the shop and will guide you through your session with affirming direction and posing prompts.

Maximum 5 subject total including up to 2 pets.

After your session, we will schedule your ordering appointment which can be virutal or in person where we’ll go through your photos and pick your very favorite! That image will get processed, retouched, and customized into a holiday ornament for your family to enjoy. A low resolution copy of the image will be provided as well.

Please note: I do not sell digital files. I am an heirloom photographer with a focus on creating portraits with a purpose, meaning my options are all physical products like custom wall art and heirloom albums. I specialize in creating pieces that will live in your home and be passed down for generations. A social media sized digital copy of each image you purchase in an album or as a piece of artwork is provided as well, but my specialty is creating artwork that you will look at daily and never lose in a folder online.

Nope! Your session fee covers your session and your ornament including one family portrait. No extra purchase is required.

Additional options are available if you want more than just the one image on your ornament. We have curated three different artwork collections for this event specifically. You can review those here.

The short answer is: Wear what makes you feel like you. The longer answer is: Avoid logos and busy patterns, learn towards neutral hues and focus on your family’s outfits being coordinated – Not matching.

We would love to provide you with personalized assistance on planning your session details including your family’s wardrobe. After you book your session, we’ll be in touch and offer our availability to meet virtually or in person for a consultation where we can address wardrobe details, look at artwork samples, or just meet so we aren’t strangers when you come to your session!

Brave Space Alliance (BSA) is a Black, trans founded LGBTQ+ Center on the South Side of Chicago that creates and provides affirming and culturally competent services for the entire LGBTQ+ community of Chicago.
